Chef Eddie Ruiz‘s highly acclaimed Pan con Chompipe is making a return once again for our 2nd Annual Beersgiving dinner!
For those of you not familiar with the dish, it is a Salvadorean turkey sandwich consisting of an 8-hour braised two pound turkey leg, topped with curtido (slaw), pickled vegetables, and smothered in its own juices, served on a bolillo (mexican roll). If you’re still not convinced, Mr. Jonathan Gold can vouch for them…
Just like last year, PRE-ORDER WILL GUARANTEE YOU ONE THE DAY OF THE EVENT! Depending on how many pre-orders we have, there will be a very limited amount available on a first come first serve basis on the night of! FYI, we only had about six available last year after all the pre-orders were fired up! Pan con chompipe is $16.
This year, we’ll also be taking pre-orders for TAKE-OUT! Whether it’s just dinner for two and don’t feel like cooking a whole meal, or you’re having a Friendsgiving get-together, we’ll be taking pre-orders of any size! PLEASE NOTE THAT PRE-ORDERS WILL ALSO BE READY TO BE PICKED UP ON THE 22nd, just as if you’re dining in.
PRE-ORDERS CAN BE PLACED AT THE BAR IN PERSON OR BY CALLING IN (YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO) DURING NORMAL HOURS OF OPERATION.
The day of the event, we will be expecting a packed house as we did last year, so reservations are only available for parties of 10 or more. Email email@example.com
In addition to this dish, we will also be offering our full menu all night and we’re keeping the kitchen open until 11:00pm, tapping a few festive beers in celebration of Beersgiving, and will be open till 1am! A dessert is also in the works…..
